First Aid / Safety Classes for Industry

CPR Training
CPR, a life saving skill, can easily be learned in a few hours. A combination of chest compressions and rescue breaths are given to people that have stopped breathing and no longer have a pulse. These techniques buy time for the individual until more advanced help arrives at the scent of the emergency. A variety of classes are conducted to meet the needs of the students. Classes can range from 2 hours to 8 hours.
AED-Automated External Defibrillation
This program covers the use of an Automated External Defibrillator and CPR to help the patient experiencing a cardiac event. The class length is 4 hours, and the class targets locations that have or will soon have defibrillators as well as those interested in learning more about the topic. The cost of the program is $45.00 and the class is set up on a rotating basis depending on the needs of the students.
First Responder
This in depth program features training allowing in plant Emergency Response Teams (ERT) to deal with complex medical problems and injuries until Emergency medical Services arrives. Training consists of presentations as well as scenario practice to integrate the skills discussed in class. Typically about 60 hours is needed for the training and the class can be tailored to the needs of the group.
